    Class is in session….

This week, we had an extraordinary experience at Lincoln Jr/Sr High School, part of Western Wayne Schools, located in Cambridge City. We had the opportunity to engage with the PE classes led by Mr. Miller, introducing the sport of disc golf to approximately 50 students. We went over the fundamentals, from the different types of grips to the techniques of putting, and even discussed some aspects of form. The weather was on our side, allowing us to utilize the football field where the students could practice their throws, aiming for a basket positioned roughly 120-130ft away. It was indeed a memorable visit. We also want to thank local disc golfer Seth Morris for assisting us in class and helping teach.

    A Visit with the Trojans

Last week, Accelerate Disc Golf Inc. was delighted to make our second donation of the new year. A trip to New Castle High School and the world famous New Castle Fieldhouse. While there, we donated 2 portable baskets and 35 discs to Mr. Cox and his students as they add disc golf to the Freshmen PE class curriculum. Thank you again to Mr. Cox for partnering with us on this project. We look forward to assisting in any way we can to ensure the success of the program.
